Welcome Los Angeles Unified Educators!

The contents below will help you get up and running with real-world Project Based Learning from Defined Learning, and help you create an engaging environment for your students that empowers them to build the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in college, careers, and life.

To get you started, here is brief overview video from our Implementation Team
Defined Learning video walkthrough

1. Go to “Courses” once you are in Schoology (everyone knows how to get to Schoology!)

2. Select a Section to edit. Click “Add Materials” and select “Add File/Link/External Tool”

3. On the screen that pops up, select “External Tool”

4. In the “Tool Provider” drop-down menu, select “Defined Learning” and assign a “Title”, then click “Submit”

5. The tool will now show up.

6. Click on it to enter the Defined Learning website.
