Implementing Competency-Based Education in K-12

Competency-based education (CBE) lets students learn at their own pace and produce work that reflects their passions. Instead of being graded on a rubric, students can demonstrate mastery by continually revisiting skills to show refinement of them. Each student designs a customized learning path that suits his or her strengths, creativity and abilities.
