Defined Careers and California Industry Sectors and Pathways

The term alignment has many different meanings and interpretations. This is especially true in education with respect to how curriculum/curricular tools, instruction, and professional learning align to local, state, and national educational standards. The purpose of this alignment document is to provide a mapping of the Career Courses within Defined Careers to the California Industry Sectors and Pathways within those sectors. Each individual Career Course within Defined Careers focuses on providing students with relevant career experiences for a specific career, of which the Career Course is named.
